I love to feel included on shoots when I’m assisting. I’m not your average second shooter…I LOVE getting to help hold the bride’s gown and applying long eyelashes and carrying the camera bags and running to pin back a tuft of hair that has escaped from its proper place (and yes, I am aware that that was a run on sentence). I take my job seriously and feel that it is important to make the bride (and the main photographer) have the best and easiest possible experience, even if that means standing in a hurricane with lightning crashing all around us and holding an umbrella to keep the precious camera dry while catching those golden moments. I’ve got God on my side…what is there to fear?
Luckily, at Heather’s shoot…there were no storms at all; just a gorgeous bride, a gorgeous setting, and light so delicious, you could taste the sweetness of it on your skin.
Since I stayed pretty busy assisting during this shoot, I don’t have very many pictures to offer. But don’t worry…the wedding will be posted sooooooon!
Much love and happiness, friends. I’m off to my first day of senior year at FSU!
